Growing up, I realized that for many people across Africa, pets were often limited to what was familiar. Dogs guarded homes, cats kept rodents away, and little attention was given to the incredible diversity of companion animals that people elsewhere had grown to love. Information was scarce, myths were common, and finding healthy, ethically raised pets was even harder.
Clawfrican was born from a simple belief: people deserve better. Better education, better access, better care, and a community that values animals not as status symbols, but as lifelong companions.
What started as a passion for exotic cats has grown into something much bigger. Today, Clawfrican is building a trusted home for pet lovers across Africa, a place where people can learn before they buy, ask questions without judgment, discover responsible breeders and pet services, and gain the confidence to give their animals the lives they deserve.
Every article, guide, video, and recommendation is created with one goal in mind: helping people become better pet owners. Because bringing an animal into your home is more than a purchase. It's a commitment that deserves honest information and thoughtful guidance.
